Dr. Grant Rivera
Dr. Grant Rivera recently assumed the office of Marietta City Schools (MCS) Superintendent, becoming just the 13th superintendent in the system’s 125-year history, leading the Marietta City Schools’ 11 schools, approximately 8,900 students and 1,200 employees.
Dr. Belinda Walters-Brazile
Dr. Belinda Walters-Brazlie is responsible for leading the district’s instructional vision and leading academic initiatives in all Marietta schools.
Assistant Superintendent for Special Services
Drum brings 28 years of experience in Special Education. She started her career as a special education teacher in Broward County, Florida. After moving to Georgia, she taught at Dickerson Middle School and then at Hightower Trail Middle School. Her passion for educating students with disabilities led her to become an educational diagnostician and eventually a leader in the field– first as a special education supervisor and then as a director of special education.
